Our Experience

Warehouse Design and Logistics was founded in May 1992 and has been involved and functions in numerous sectors, offering services which range from feasibility studies to full implementations dependant on each individual clients requirements.

Chris Phillips, the founder and outright owner of the company has operated in the Warehousing and Distribution sector since 1971 and has delivered seminars, lectured and trained on behalf of Logistics Training International - a module of the Warehouse Management Diploma - on the value of good accuracy in Inventory Management and House Keeping Practices.

Chris was involved in the first fully automatic warehouse to be installed in South Africa in 1984 and since then has been involved in the setting up of outsourcing local and international supply chain of technical parts, aircraft tyres (power by the hour) and in-flight services for the airline industry from procurement, forecasting, inventory management, storing and shipping.
